Today I got a chance to play with a Zune, over a month before the official release.

- First of all, its light. Not heavy or bulky. It feels small and only compared to the ipod can it look bigger, yet it doesn’t feel bigger.
- Second, The scroll function between your list of songs is of course not a touch wheel like most people are used to, but it does scroll faster the longer you hold it down until it reaches the point to where it splashes up the starting letter of the alphabet as it gets from A to Z in the song list. Very fast and works.
- Another plus was the visualization between menus. I liked the little animation. It was entertaining and shiny. (Hey some people like shinny things, like my girlfriend.)
- Sound quality. All I can say is in this day and age, its hard to “hear” a difference. In other words works great.
Screen size seems great. Nice and bright easy to see. - The radio feature was really nice to have. When the signal comes in good, you get all the digital information off the radio station too. Also, the auto tuner worked really good.
Overall, I’d have to say that this product is much better than most critics are giving it a chance. I think It??s easy to use and ready for the market. I look forward to seeing this product hit the market and am not considering buying this product given I don??t own any portable music players.
