Here’s a reader i just stumbled apon. I bet most people have already used it, but I find it pretty cool. Who makes it you ask…well are good friends over at google. reader.google.com

It uses ajax and is pretty slick. Pretty darn fast and if you have a google account will save all of your feeds. Its worth a look.

Basicly I felt like posting something here after having a horrible weekend. The only good that happened this weekedn was GVSU wining over North Dakota. The next game is the 26th of November which makes for a short break. GVSU will be playing SVSU.

“Ready to Launch” is the catchy name Microsoft has deemed for the release events of their new development software. Today I went to Detroit, MI to get a copy of Visual Studio 2005, SQL SERVER 2005, and BizTalk Server 2006. There were somewhere around 2500-3000 people there of all ages. After eating some dry bagels and getting some fee junk I went to the keynote to listen to what they had to say. Visual Studio was the only thing I was interested in. Well the demos sorta worked and sorta impressed me. I would have to say though that the new software is more for Enterprise then anything else. Yes, it does have new fixes that make things work better, but its not like they(Microsoft) re-invented the wheel.

Anyways. I got my copy and installed it on my “lappy 386″. This was something that should have worked, but the installer crashed on Media Center edition of Windows. They claim it was not mission critical to make sure it worked on media center. Over all the event was fun. Got to go on a road trip at the least and something I really needed to do. Now its time to dev some new apps.
