So I got a chance to touch Photoshop CS2. I must say. Its awsome. Not a ton of changes were made, but some that gave it the WOW vote.
Number one.The vanishing point is at the top of the wow list.
Comming in second, is the red eye tool. They should have had this for years it gets the wow for “about damn time”.
Third is the surface blur. If you do portrait photos. You know that to get them to look like the magazine quality that American society loves to see, you need to do some Photoshop work. Before you had to apply a blur. Then un-blur areas you wanted sharper. Now there’s a tool that will detect what areas to blur and which to not. Still takes a little work but overall FASTER.
Lastly. Adobe Bridge. The file browser that they should have had for years. Its fast.(once it loads) You can lunch any program from within the brower too.
A shoutout goes to RAW 3. They beefed it up a bit. A few extras here and there.
Well thats it for the WOW’s that I’ve seen in it so far. You really have to just try it and play around for awhile. Its pretty neet and a worthwhile upgrade. To read abou the feature go to Adobe’s site. They have some videos including the vanishing point stuff.
Photoshop CS2 Updates
This post is going to be short. Intended for both fulljeff, and “the house”.
My new camera is awsome. Canon 20D. Today a new firmware came out. When I updated the firmware today it locked up at 94%. It had a full lockup. Pulled the battery, and then put it back in. Then I ran the firmware update again. Things were better and the F bombs stopped.
Now see this post is short and sweet like oneof.us Thats how a blog should be.
WHAT THE HECK. Carl decieded today to play spiderman for SegaSatern CD. The game play sucks. But the music makes the game the funniest game every. They have some music that is a cross between street fighter nes music and 80’s rock. To add to it they have lyrics like “swing time”. This is too entertaining. I suggest eveyone find a rom and play this thing and laugh your but off.
Today, I went to do some homework stuff. I grabbed out a pencil out of my bag, and tried to use it but there was no lead left in it. This then reminded me of the reason. This past week I had two big tests. In both of these classes I came prepared had my notes off my table and pencil on desk ready to start bubbling in answers.
The first test, a girl to my left asked to borrow a pencil. Who the hell comes to a test and forgets a pencil. I think about it and guess that maybe she was in a rush and forgot. This must be a one time deal.
Two days later a girl in front of me in another class sits down, waits 10 minutes for the test to be handed out. During that time she must have been trying to count ceiling tiles or something because when the test was handed to her, she turns around and asks me for a pencil. Come on you??ve been sitting there for ten minutes. You should have at least tried to look for one.
Now both these times, these girls knew we were having test, and that they were big ones and counted for a lot of their grade. I was nice enough to let them use my pencil, but now I can’t do my homework because I need to hunt down more lead for the darn thing. People that don??t come prepared with as simple thing as a pencil really don??t’ need to graduate in my opinion. I find it rude, ridiculous, lazy, and ignorant that you can’t remember simple things like that. The worst part about it all, If I were to say no and not let them borrow one, I’d be the bad guy in the whole situation even though they’re the ones that were in the wrong.
Sorry, All, that??s my complaint for today. It??s been too long since I’ve posted.
Things to talk about in the next week will be. New camera; Fox’s “24″; and Fox’s “Arrested Development”.
